No one’s born a hero, not even All Might. You haven’t- you haven’t messed up forever, this is something you can go and fix, and this fear is something you can overcome- and I’m blathering on here, but what I’m really trying to say here is… Not being born a perfect fearless hero, not being born All Might doesn’t make you unfit to be a hero. You feel terrible after doing what you did, which is a lot more than some other kids would’ve felt in your place, and the important part now isn’t what you did, it’s what you choose to do after, about it and what you’re feeling. This is the time you can make mistakes, as long as you grow and keep trying to be better- which you are. You’re still just a kid, you know? You haven’t been fighting your fears for years, and you’re still allowed to be afraid. Even if they’re afraid, they learnt to overcome it, even if they made mistakes because of that fear, they learnt from it and didn’t make them again- and, well. Might not seem like it, sure, but they’ve been doing their job for years. They get scared, they might make mistakes because they get scared. But that doesn’t make them any less of heroes, not being perfect. They show no adverse reaction to absorbing heat.īright Eyes: The User's eyes are incredibly bright, capable of lighting up a room just by opening their eyes. Heatsink: The User can absorb heat into their body, which increases their own body temperature greatly. Only they are capable of surviving within this mirror world, and if the reflective surface they are using is broken, there is a chance of them being unable to return. Mirror World: The User can go into any reflective surface that they touch, entering an empty world that seems to be reversed, called a 'mirror world'. Not sure if they've been pitched yet, though.īoombox: The User's chest is essentially a stereo, capable of emitting sounds that the User has previously heard. It feels like a drag to wait for chapters every week so I'll wait a month or two and hope the mess I saw cleans itself up.ĭespite what I said though there is at least one character I do like and keep reading for them. We're constantly reminded of Ururaka's feelings but it doesn't go any where like every other time for the story in Chapter 348. Was not handled all that well or rather the story could have gone without it. Then you have the Toga nonsense that happened near recently. (I think Batman would be more reasonable). He was forgiven so easily I didn't expect torture or any thing but a forgiveness cliche has never made me want to throw up so badly. The blonde sparkly traitor who was found by chance but he admitted so much you forget. His personality did a 180 despite him bragging about it. The it around the 300s in chapter rangeĭEKU starts going rogue and all that Then every thing goes well when Ururaka does her little speech to get her DEKU points and that wraps up that edgy ark. So after Shigiraki has his first direct battle with DEKU the story goes down hill. Note: Nominated for the 8th Manga Taisho Award.
